About this Site

This site was set up in 2003. Our family had been sending money to Peru for micro loans, and grants. We were on our way to setting up a 501 c(3) corporation as a non profit when we became aware of other programs that already did micro lending.

www.discoverhopefund.com is based in Cajamarca Peru. It makes loans to women owned businesses. They are expanding. We encourage you to look at their program and give donations.

What we ended up doing is to help people here, in the United States, set up and maintain businesses. We focus on Hispanic owned business, but we are open to all opportunities.

There are many businesses that have used our help in the past ten years. It is encouraging that there are so many people who want to make life better for themselves and their families.

We concentrate on service based business, mostly related to Real Estate. Even though we consult on land use with a special interest in wetlands we avoid new construction. Home renovation better describes what we do.

There are also members of our team who are heavily involved in hotel, restaurant, and grocery businesses. One of the main recurring themes, especially for people who immigrate to this country, is the way we do business is faster with fewer constraints. It’s one of the things that make America great.

Many of the people we work with also send money home to thier country of origin. We found that it was much more important to get the money sent from here than trying to manage a business abroad.

Peru is a country of special interest to me since I was a boy who read the book Kon Tiki. Now, with further travel and research I have found the country a place where Americans can invest, and be a part of the gate way to South America.
